ScreenSounds reviews "THE POKER CLUB"


I have been aware of composer Evan Evans for some time, but this is the first opportunity I have had to hear what he has to offer. His dark, noirish score for this thriller that was released on DVD in the US this past April, combines orchestra with electronics as seems increasingly to be the norm these days.
The album gets off to a very dark start with the "Main Titles;"

Carradine Dies; "Night Of The Templar" Lives On


Regretfully, David Carradine, the star of my latest film project, has died. "NIGHT OF THE TEMPLAR" is now his final film. I am also post production supervising the film, and editing and coordinating special effects, digital transfer, and color correction.

David Carradine enjoyed working with Director Paul Sampson, and made himself available for pick-ups and ADR. Unfortunately that is now impssible. Fortunately, and a testament to how great Carradine was as an actor, we do not need anything more from him than what he gave on the set.

Rest in peace David.
